The India Global Forum (IGF) has teamed up with the Quantum Ecosystems Technology Council of India (QETCI) to create a quantum value-chain map linking the UK and India. This significant partnership is driven by the UK-India Future Forum, focused on fostering joint research and development.
As the memorandum of understanding details, this strategic agreement is designed to identify opportunities for collaboration, ranging from research to market adoption. The partnership plans to publish a UK-India Quantum Value-Chain Overview by next year, confirming its potential to benefit academia, industry, and government sectors.
Will Carne, UKIFF Director, emphasized the systematic mapping of policy junctures for co-creation, while QETCI CEO Reena Dayal expressed confidence in the partnership's ability to drive adoption of quantum technologies across diverse sectors.
