In a significant push towards technological advancement, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will officiate the commencement of a USD 15 billion Google AI data centre in Visakhapatnam on April 28.

This ambitious project is positioned to transform Visakhapatnam into a key technology hub, with the hyperscale AI data centre boasting a 1 gigawatt capacity. The facility aims to become one of the largest AI data establishments in India, facilitating advanced AI cloud infrastructure and large-scale data storage.

Covering nearly 600 acres in Tarluvada, Adavivaram, and Rambilli, the venture will foster enormous employment opportunities in AI, cloud operations, and cybersecurity.
