On May 15, 2026, Andhra Pradesh will host a landmark event in Puttaparthi, Sri Sathya Sai district, laying the foundation for the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft programme infrastructure. The event will be presided over by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
This pivotal ceremony marks Andhra Pradesh's strategic move to become a leader in defence manufacturing, aerospace innovation, and unmanned systems, aligning with India's Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision for indigenizing advanced defence technologies.
