Steel products manufacturer Kamdhenu Ltd has announced a 2% increase in net profit to Rs 17.1 crore for the March quarter, buoyed by higher revenues.

Compared to the Rs 16.8 crore profit in the same period the previous year, the company's revenue from operations surged by 12% to Rs 197.8 crore. This growth is attributed to increased production volumes from both company-owned and franchise manufacturing facilities, according to Kamdhenu Group CMD Satish Kumar Agarwal.

Agarwal emphasized the sustained demand for TMT steel bars in India, driven by government infrastructure projects such as PM Gati Shakti and Smart Cities Mission, ensuring strong market prospects in upcoming years.
