Delhi airport faced massive disruptions as around 140 flights were cancelled following missile strikes conducted by the Indian armed forces on terror targets in Pakistan. This operation came in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
The cancellations included 65 arrivals and 66 departures. Additionally, four international flights were affected, including a service by American Airlines. Passengers are advised to check with airlines for updated information and alternate travel arrangements.
Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), which runs the Indira Gandhi International Airport, reported that it is collaborating with airlines and Air Traffic Control to mitigate disruptions and ensure passenger safety amid the changing airspace conditions.
