GHCL Ltd, a prominent player in the chemical sector, announced a substantial 22.44% increase in standalone net profit for the quarter ending March, attributed to lower expenditures.
The company's net profit rose to Rs 152.62 crore, up from Rs 124.64 crore a year ago, as highlighted in a recent regulatory filing. However, total income saw a dip, falling to Rs 807.12 crore from Rs 839.77 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
For the entire 2024-25 fiscal year, the company's profit experienced a downturn, decreasing by 21% to Rs 626.23 crore from Rs 793.55 crore. Based in Noida, GHCL Ltd focuses on manufacturing soda ash, a crucial component in detergents and various industrial products.
