Kia India's Ambitious Carens Clavis: A Market Expansion Strategy

Kia India is poised for a significant boost in its Carens portfolio, expecting a 20-25% volume increase after introducing the premium Carens Clavis model. Unveiled globally, the Clavis aims to cater to both MPV and SUV segments with its upscale features and spacious three-row seating.
During a conversation with PTI, Hardeep Singh Brar, Kia India's National Head of Sales and Marketing, expressed optimism, stating, "We sold about 60,000 units of Carens last year. This year, we look forward to achieving 20-25% growth with the Clavis." The Clavis is designed to service the fleet, budget buyers, and premium consumers alike, with ambitions for global distribution.
The Clavis, available in both petrol and diesel with manual and automatic transmissions, promises added style and space, meeting the aspirational needs of modern large families. Additionally, Kia's future plans include an electric variant, marking a significant expansion of their EV presence in the Indian market.
