The 9th Global Fashion & Design Week 2025 commenced at Marwah Studios in Noida with international flair. Organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) alongside AAFT's various schools, the event welcomes participants from 90 countries, marking it as the largest fashion event hosted by an educational institution globally.
This year's edition showcases an array of cultural garments and artistic exhibits, with 50 countries presenting innovative fashion designs. Additionally, two halls display 125 furniture pieces from 80 nations, celebrating global design prowess. Exhibitions encompass fashion installations, culinary presentations, art displays, and a prominent food festival.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Festival President and Chancellor of AAFT University, addressed the attendees, emphasizing design as a cultural and innovative reflection. Ambassador Benedikt Hoskuldsson of Iceland inaugurated the event, highlighting its role in uniting global cultures through fashion. Distinguished guests and designers contributed their insights, enriching the festival with diverse perspectives.
