Tata Motors Chairman N Chandrasekaran led a solemn tribute to the victims of the Air India plane crash during the company's 80th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday. A one-minute silence was observed to honor those who lost their lives in the tragedy.

Addressing the shareholders, Chandrasekaran, who also chairs Tata Sons, acknowledged the loss of former chairman Ratan Tata, who died last year. His presence was notably missed at this gathering.

This AGM was Chandrasekaran's first since the plane crash. He had been absent from the AGMs of two other Tata Group firms, TCS and TCPL, earlier in the week, marking a significant return to the group's leadership meetings.
