An Air India Express flight bound for Doha made a swift return to Calicut International Airport on Wednesday due to a cabin AC technical issue. Officials clarified that it was a precautionary measure, not an emergency landing.
Flight IX 375, carrying 188 people including crew members, departed from Calicut at approximately 9.07 am and safely landed back at 11.12 am. The airline organized a replacement aircraft, departing for Doha at 2.16 pm.
The airline stated that passenger safety is their utmost priority, providing refreshments during the delay and expressed regrets for the inconvenience caused. All necessary protocols were followed to ensure a smooth operation.
