Syngene International has announced a notable 61 percent rise in its consolidated profit after tax, totaling Rs 87 crore for the first quarter ending June 30, 2025. This is a significant jump from the Rs 54 crore recorded in the same period last fiscal year.

The company's revenue from operations also experienced growth, climbing to Rs 875 crore from the year-ago's Rs 790 crore, according to official regulatory filings. This success is attributed to the continued conversion of pilot programs into longer-term contracts within their research services division.

Peter Bains, Managing Director and CEO of Syngene International, expressed optimism for the company's future despite some macroeconomic challenges. The company's shares rose by 0.5 percent, closing at Rs 679.65 on the BSE.
