EaseMyTrip, a leading online travel service, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Timbuckdo, a student-centered social commerce platform. Through an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two companies aim to make travel more affordable for students in India by offering tailored discounts on travel-related services.

The collaboration promises to merge EaseMyTrip's reliable travel services with Timbuckdo's strong engagement with the student community, according to a statement released on Thursday. Sanchit Chopra, Chief Marketing Officer of EaseMyTrip, emphasized the significance of the partnership in enhancing travel accessibility for a digitally inclined and adventurous student demographic.

Highlighting the rapidly evolving travel preferences of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, Timbuckdo's Co-founder and CEO, Mythri Kumar, pointed out that students are increasingly influencing family travel decisions, leaning towards experiences that are immediate and cost-effective. This strategic alliance is poised to redefine the travel landscape, aiming for over one million student bookings within a year amidst a market predicted to exceed USD 10 billion by 2027.
