Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is set to deliver robust operating cash flows quarterly, as announced by Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia. The state-run telecom is shifting its focus from net profit margins to operational performance, the minister revealed following the BSNL Strategic Review and Planning Meeting 2025-26.

Scindia underscored the necessity of assessing operating margins and cash flows, noting the influence of record capital expenditure on depreciation. Last year, BSNL showed significant operational improvement, with margins increasing 2.5 times to approximately ₹5,100 crore, showcasing a leap in efficiency.

Positioning customer satisfaction as a vital component of BSNL's strategy, Scindia stressed the importance of a customer-centric philosophy. He unveiled plans to boost average revenue per user (ARPU) by emulating successful tactics from high-performing circles, emphasizing the aim of greater market share and improved service quality.
