A train collided with a tractor stranded on railway tracks in Odisha's Puri district on Monday afternoon, authorities reported.
The incident involved the Baidyanath Dham Express, which runs between Puri and Patna. The crash occurred near Biraramachandrpur village after the tractor's driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle obstructing the tracks.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accident. The train was delayed by approximately 20 minutes before continuing its journey. The collision resulted in substantial damage to the tractor's front end, while the train engine sustained only minor harm, according to railway officials.
