In a noteworthy financial achievement, Repco Bank has announced record profits amounting to Rs 140 crore for the financial year 2024-25, marking the highest earnings in its storied history. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, also the Co-operation Minister, extended his congratulations to the bank's team for this impressive milestone.

The bank, operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs' watch, has demonstrated exceptional efficiency and professionalism, setting a standard that could inspire the cooperative sector at large. Established on November 19, 1969, under the Madras Cooperative Societies Act, Repco Bank operates across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Puducherry.

Further solidifying its success, officials from Repco Bank presented a dividend cheque worth Rs 22.90 crore to the Ministry. This underscores the Ministry of Cooperation's mission, since its inception on July 6, 2021, to bolster India's cooperative sector, which comprises over 8.44 lakh cooperatives nationwide.
