Four individuals, including two children, tragically lost their lives in a devastating highway collision involving two heavy vehicles and a car in Gujarat's Morbi district. The incident unfolded late Thursday night on a national highway near Haripar village.

According to Superintendent of Police Rahul Tripathi, the calamity was triggered when a container vehicle entered the road from the wrong side, causing a crashing collision between a truck and a car, which then burst into flames. The raging fire resulted in the death of four persons due to severe burn injuries.

The deceased included two students returning home to Kutch district from a boarding school in Junagadh and two truck occupants. Emergency services managed to rescue seven others with minor injuries, shifting them to a private hospital for treatment. An investigation into the crash is currently underway.
