The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) praises this initiative as crucial for enhancing price competitiveness.
Chandrima Chatterjee, Secretary General of CITI, regards the initiative as a timely intervention responding to enduring industry appeals. The waiver, set to last until September 30, 2025, comes amidst fluctuating cotton prices, providing much-needed stability to the sector.
