Massive Railway Boost for Bihar During Festive Season
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the operation of over 12,000 trains for Bihar during the Diwali and Chhath festivals. New routes like the Amrit Bharat train from Delhi to Gaya and the Vande Bharat train between Purnia and Patna will be launched. A Buddha Circuit train is also planned.

The Railway Ministry is set to enhance connectivity for Bihar residents during the Diwali and Chhath festivals. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed that more than 12,000 trains would be in operation to facilitate festive travel.
Highlighting new routes, Vaishnaw announced the launch of the Amrit Bharat train, which will connect Delhi and Gaya, catering specifically to general class passengers. Alongside this, shortly, a Vande Bharat train will link Purnia and Patna, offering accessibility to various societal segments.
Additionally, the Ministry plans to introduce a Buddha Circuit train, which will connect significant Buddhist sites like Nalanda and Rajgir, boosting tourism and cultural exploration.
