The Delhi government has announced plans to roll out a new credit scheme designed for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The initiative is expected to launch on September 18, aligning with Sewa Pakhwada, according to statements from officials made on Tuesday.
Formally approved in a recent Delhi Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the credit scheme will enable MSMEs to access loans, supported by government guarantees, a government insider revealed.
The announcement coincides with events marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, with the scheme being implemented by the Delhi government's Industries Department.
