In a major event for cancer care in Central India, BALCO Medical Centre hosted the 3rd Chhattisgarh Cancer Conclave in Raipur, drawing over 300 global oncology experts. The conclave highlighted simplified cancer treatment, improved patient outcomes, and the advancement of research, gathering more than 1,200 delegates.

Held under the theme 'Driving Common-Sense Oncology,' the conclave emphasized the importance of coordinated, multidisciplinary care for complex cancers including gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and lung cancers. Organized in partnership with ecancer, Tata Memorial Centre, and the National Cancer Grid, the three-day event included over 20 expert-led panel discussions and unique workshops.

Addressing participants, Jyoti Agarwal, Chairperson of Vedanta Medical Research Foundation, reaffirmed the foundation's commitment to cancer prevention through education and resources. Experts like Dr. Shailesh Shrikhande from Tata Memorial Hospital highlighted the balance of prevention, treatment, and ethics in a comprehensive cancer care approach.
