IPL Biologicals Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with Mitsui India and AgSmart, aiming to introduce microbial bio-pesticides into the Philippine market. The agreement was revealed on Monday, indicating a significant move towards sustainable farming by replacing chemical pesticides with safer, biological alternatives.

While the company has not disclosed the potential sales volume or value from these collaborations, its extensive portfolio in disease and pest management, plant nutrients, and soil management positions it as a key player in the agricultural sector. The Haridwar-based company is poised for further growth with a new automated plant in Gujarat.

Mitsui & Co., a global trading and investment firm, adds substantial international reach, bringing over a presence in 60 countries to this venture. With Mitsui India as a part of its expansive network, the collaboration is expected to leverage extensive market expertise, setting the stage for the widespread adoption of bio-pesticides.
