Tragedy on the Tracks: Vande Bharat Accident in Bihar
Four young individuals lost their lives after being struck by a Vande Bharat train in Bihar's Purnea district. The accident occurred during an attempt to cross tracks in overcast conditions. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his condolences, and the injured survivor is currently hospitalized.

In a tragic accident on Friday, four people were killed and one injured when a Vande Bharat train hit them in Bihar's Purnea district while they were crossing the tracks.
The incident occurred at approximately 4 am on the Katihar-Jogbani section amidst dark and overcast conditions, according to Munna Kumar, the Station Manager at Purnea Junction. The victims, aged between 14 and 18 and residents of the Kasba block, failed to notice the rapidly approaching train.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep sorrow and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured, who has been admitted to Purnea Medical College and Hospital.
