Belgium's Defence Ministry has launched an investigation following the unusual presence of drones at the Elsenborn military base, located on the German border. According to a ministry spokesperson, this is the first occurrence of its kind.
The drones were observed flying over the military base and subsequently moving towards Germany. Meanwhile, a similar situation was noted at Germany's Munich airport, about 600 kilometers southeast of Elsenborn, causing flight cancellations and diversions.
The simultaneous sightings have raised security concerns, prompting swift action from both Belgian and German authorities to determine the origin and purpose of these drone flights.
