IndiGo is marking a significant expansion in its flight services, rolling out new international routes from Delhi, including connections to Manchester in the UK, Denpasar in Indonesia, and Krabi in Thailand. The Manchester flights, set to begin on November 15, symbolize the airline's foray into long-haul services from the Indian capital.
The airline announced on Friday that the new routes will be operated using the leased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, while daily travel to Denpasar and four-times-a-week services to Krabi will start this month using Airbus A320 family aircraft. Additionally, IndiGo plans to enhance frequencies on the Delhi-Bangkok route to double daily by October 26.
In a strategic move to bolster its domestic network, IndiGo will introduce non-stop flights from Delhi to nine Indian cities, including Rajkot, Vadodara, Patna, and Goa, by the end of October. This comprehensive expansion allows IndiGo to connect Delhi to a total of 21 international and 74 domestic destinations, solidifying its role and India's position as a pivotal global aviation hub.
