Norway's Oslo airport briefly suspended landings early on Monday following a drone sighting report near the facility, according to news agency NTB. Several incoming flights faced delays or were rerouted after a Norwegian Air pilot reported seeing between three and five drones during his approach to the airport, police stated.
The drone observation remains unverified, and normal operations have since resumed, NTB reported. This incident is part of a growing pattern of drone-related disruptions affecting airports across Europe, including recent reports from Copenhagen, Oslo, and Munich.
Such incidents are increasingly becoming a concern for European aviation, as unauthorized drone activities pose risks to flight safety and airport operations.
