Tragic Collision: Wedding Party's Fatal Road Accident

A tragic accident unfolded late Friday night in Uttar Pradesh as five individuals, including three members of a family, lost their lives in a head-on collision between their SUV and a trailer truck. The incident occurred on a highway in the Doharighat police station area.
The SUV, registered in Jharkhand, veered out of its lane and struck an oncoming truck. The impact left the vehicle completely mangled. Victims were identified as Vinay Srivastava, his wife Archana, their son Kritarth, and two others, Ravindra Yadav and Purushottam Kumar.
The police launched an immediate rescue operation, extricating the bodies after significant effort. The deceased had been returning to Gorakhpur after attending a wedding in Ranchi. Meanwhile, an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
