Tragedy Strikes: Two Killed and Six Injured in Jharkhand Road Accidents

In a tragic series of events on Sunday, two separate road accidents in Jharkhand's Gumla and Latehar districts led to the deaths of two individuals and left six others injured.
In the Gumla district, a vehicle overturned near Betarkera More within the Kurkura police station limits. This accident claimed the lives of 20-year-old Shahil Bengra and 55-year-old Chandar Mahto, both from Khunti district. Another individual suffered serious injuries and was transferred to Gumla for further treatment. The accident occurred as the victims were returning from a wedding, and police have indicated that speeding may have been a factor.
In a separate incident in Latehar district, a vehicle carrying four women and a driver fell into a trench and overturned near Borsidag village. While all sustained injuries, one required transfer to RIMS, Ranchi, for specialized care.
