Heritage Foods Ltd reported a significant 37.26% drop in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal, attributing the decline to increased expenses.

The Hyderabad-based company recorded a net profit of Rs 23.94 crore, down from Rs 38.16 crore in the same period the previous year, as stated in a regulatory filing.

Despite a rise in total income to Rs 1157.56 crore, the expenses surged to Rs 1132.40 crore. Executive Director Brahmani Nara highlighted the challenging conditions that impacted the dairy industry throughout the year, including severe milk shortages and high procurement costs.
