Chinese President Xi Jinping declared China's doors to American businesses would continue to open during a discussion with American CEOs in a recent meeting with President Trump. China's official Xinhua news agency reported on this development.
Xi emphasized that American companies are playing a substantial role in China's reform and expansion. He expressed China's openness to enhancing mutually beneficial relations, foreseeing broader opportunities for US businesses. Trump reciprocated by encouraging American companies to expand their operations in China, crediting existing collaborations.
As part of the US delegation, 17 CEOs, including Elon Musk and Tim Cook, traveled to China to explore and deepen their business engagements. Following President Xi's meeting, President Trump's itinerary included a visit to China's historic Temple of Heaven.
