Tragic Road Accidents in Rajasthan: A Grim Toll

In a tragic sequence of events, three separate road mishaps in Rajasthan claimed ten lives over the weekend, highlighting grave safety concerns. On Sunday in Nagaur district, a severe collision between a Rajasthan roadways bus and a car led to four fatalities; the car was completely mangled. The deceased were identified as residents from Jodhpur, while the injured bus passengers are currently receiving treatment.

Balotra district witnessed another catastrophe where a speeding SUV overturned on the Bharatmala Expressway, resulting in three deaths and leaving three individuals injured. The victims, all from Gujarat, were en route to a pilgrimage site when the accident occurred. Similarly, a tragic incident unfolded in Pratapgarh as a trailer truck crashed into two motorcycles, killing three men late Saturday night. Authorities have apprehended the truck driver involved.

Preliminary investigations attribute all three accidents to overspeeding and negligent driving. Law enforcement is actively pursuing further inquiries to determine additional contributing factors to these devastating events.
