JSW Energy took significant action on Monday by selling 2.5 crore equity shares of JSW Steel, amounting to Rs 3,150 crore, through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.

This transaction, completed on May 18, leaves JSW Energy with a remaining holding of 4,50,38,350 equity shares in JSW Steel Ltd, as stated in a recent regulatory filing.
