Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd has announced a marginal decline in its profit after tax by 1.9% to Rs 301.46 crore for the March quarter of fiscal year 2026, compared to the same period last year. This drop comes amid strategic investments and consumer-focused innovations.

The company, a significant player in India's healthcare and feminine care markets with brands like Vicks and Whisper, also experienced a 5% decrease in its revenue from operations, totaling Rs 941.32 crore. Costs fell by 7.8% to Rs 735.68 crore during the same quarter.

Despite quarterly setbacks, PGHH's full-year performance was stronger, with a 34.54% rise in annual net profit to Rs 856.50 crore. Consolidated revenue for FY26 increased by 27.14% to Rs 4,290.42 crore. The company proposed a final dividend of Rs 60 per share for FY26.

PGHH's shares rose by 2.25% to close at Rs 10,102.80 on the BSE. The company attributes its results to strategic consumer-focused initiatives and enhancements in market reach.
