Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) has voiced its concerns over the approaching examinations. DUSU president Ronak Khatri officially appealed on Friday for the postponement of exams scheduled to start on May 13.
Khatri highlighted the anxiety that is palpable among students and their families, especially for those who had returned home on study leave. He shared that many students are anxious and numerous parents are asking their children to stay home due to the escalating crisis.
In an effort to support students during these uncertain times, DUSU has introduced two helpline numbers to assist with accommodation, medical support, and exam-related inquiries. Khatri also called upon Delhi University's vice chancellor via social media platform X, urging them to reschedule the exams for the safety and well-being of students.
