In a significant move to bolster bilateral cooperation, India and Nepal have inked an agreement for five 'high-impact' development projects. These initiatives, aimed at revolutionizing education and health sectors, will be funded by an Indian grant assistance of NRs 390 million, as announced by the Embassy of India.
The Memorandums of Understanding were signed between the Embassy of India, Nepal's Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, and various Project Implementing Agencies. The projects include constructing school buildings in Madhesh and Sudurpashchim provinces, and a five-bed hospital in Gandaki province, reflecting comprehensive infrastructural enhancement.
These developments promise improved educational and health facilities for the people of Nepal. The initiative reaffirms India and Nepal's close ties and collaborative efforts, emphasizing the Indian government's ongoing support in empowering Nepal by enhancing infrastructure in key sectors.
