Delhi University Sees Over 62,000 Confirm Admissions Amid Upgrades and Allocations

Delhi University's first round of undergraduate seat allocations has seen over 62,000 confirmations, with a significant number of students opting for upgrades, officials disclosed on Thursday.
Data from DU reveals that out of 62,565 admitted candidates, 34,014 are females and 28,551 males, including 143 orphans and 949 single girl children. The interface remains open for admitted students to reorder college or program preferences until Friday at 4:59 pm.
Out of the candidates, 16,126 have chosen to secure their allotted seats, while a larger count, 43,741, have opted for upgrades. Upcoming rounds promise further internal movement with the second round allocations set for release on July 28.
