Seven Vice-Chancellors Sworn In for Assam's Universities

Seven newly appointed vice-chancellors were officially inducted for Assam's state-run universities. Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office during a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, and Chief Secretary Ravi Kota were among the high-profile attendees at the event.

The appointees included Taranee Deka, Niranjan Roy, Jyoti Prasad Saikia, Ganesh Chandra Wary, Mukul Bora, Hitesh Deka, and Mahadev Patgiri, marking a new chapter for the universities they represent.
