In a move to advance skill-based higher education, Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has forged a partnership with the Board of Apprenticeship Training Western Region (BoAT-WR) in Mumbai. This initiative is a significant step towards creating equitable career opportunities for young Indians from marginalized communities.
The newly signed Memorandum of Understanding opens the door for students to participate in paid apprenticeships acknowledged by the government. Students from domains such as engineering, hospitality, and digital services will benefit by earning stipends, gaining workplace experience, and acquiring academic credits, which will be recorded in the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC).
MSU's founder-Chancellor Pravesh Dudani emphasized that this development marks a crucial moment for industry-aligned higher education, highlighting the integrated pathway for students to earn, learn, and gain credentials that employers recognize and value.
