Protests erupted in Bihar's capital on Monday as job seekers demanded immediate action on the delayed State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET), insisting it be held before the Teachers Recruitment Exam (TRE-5).
The demonstration led to significant traffic disruption at the Dak Bungalow crossing, prompting police to intervene after protestors attempted to breach barricades.
According to SP Diksha, despite repeated requests by security personnel, demonstrators refused to clear the roads, resulting in the use of mild force to disperse the assembly. Protestor Amit Kumar highlighted that the postponement had particularly affected individuals who recently completed their B.Ed.
