Seeking to further boost robotics education in schools, the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has announced a new initiative by inviting tenders for 5,000 advanced robotic kits. These new kits, an upgrade from previous versions, are set to be distributed to high schools with active Little KITEs units, enabling students to build complex IoT devices. The advanced features include an ESP32 Devkit v1 board and various sensors, providing students with tools for creating innovative projects like Rover Robots, weather monitoring systems, and more.

K Anvar Sadath, KITE's CEO, expressed that the initiative is a direct response to the success and enthusiasm of students and teachers in the robotics curriculum. With the tender submission deadline set for September 25, 2025, this move underscores KITE's commitment to equipping future innovators and engineers.
