Viksit Bharat Buildathon-2025: A New Era of Student Innovation

The Ministry of Education, partnering with Atal Innovation Mission, has introduced the Viksit Bharat Buildathon-2025, a national initiative targeting student innovation. Launched to involve students from grades 6-12, this movement calls for creativity in addressing pressing national issues through innovative ideas and prototypes.

The Buildathon focuses on four crucial themes: self-reliance, indigenous innovation, promotion of local products and crafts, and fostering prosperity for sustainable growth. The Ministry encourages participation from students, teachers, and schools nationwide, emphasizing that this is not merely a competition but a platform for showcasing problem-solving skills on a larger scale.

Participants will have their submissions evaluated by a national expert panel, with the top teams receiving accolades. Beyond prizes, ongoing mentorship and resources will be provided to support the further development of student innovations. Engagement in the Buildathon, open until October 6, culminates ultimately in a live event on October 13, with winners to be honored in December.
