Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has launched an attack against the BJP, alleging serious irregularities in the NEET-UG 2026 examinations. She demanded accountability from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning how long this cycle of damaging the youth's future would persist.
In a social media post, Vadra claimed that despite the sacrifices students and parents make for such exams, rampant corruption robs them of a secure future. She criticized the effectiveness of stringent laws against paper leaks, suggesting that corruption remains pervasive under the BJP's administration.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) countered these allegations, asserting that NEET-UG 2026 was conducted under strict security measures, including GPS-tracked transportation, AI-assisted surveillance, and biometric verification. Ongoing investigations by Rajasthan's SOG have yet to conclude the extent of any malpractice, according to the NTA.
