Former Rajasthan minister Mahesh Joshi, who was arrested in Jal Jeevan Mission scam case last week, was sent to judicial custody by an ACB court here on Monday. Joshi was produced before the court after completion of police remand and was sent to judicial custody. ACB arrested Joshi on May 7 in connection with the alleged Rs 900 crore scam. Joshi was the Public Health Engineering Department minister during the former Congress government when the alleged scam took place. Joshi was earlier arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in April 2025 in a money laundering case linked to the alleged scam. He remained in jail for around seven months before being granted bail by the Supreme Court in December.
