The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2026, scheduled for May 3, has been cancelled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to allegations of a paper leak, confirmed NTA Director General Abhishek Singh. Singh announced that the new schedule for the examination will be released within seven to ten days.

Singh assured candidates that no additional fees would be required for the re-examination, and those fees already paid would be refunded. He emphasized that ensuring the integrity of the exam process is paramount, and the NTA is committed to resolving the issue promptly to avoid disrupting the academic calendar of medical colleges.
