The Kerala SSLC examination results have been unveiled, showcasing a small decline in the pass percentage to 99.07 from last year's 99.50. The announcement was made by Principal Secretary Sharmila Mary Joseph and Director of General Education N S K Umesh during a press conference.
Over 4 lakh students took the exam from Kerala, Lakshadweep, and the Gulf region, with 410,456 students qualifying for higher secondary education. The number of students achieving A+ in all subjects saw a surprising drop to 30,514, down from 61,449, a decline officials attribute to a new curriculum.
An analysis to investigate this decline is slated, and revaluation applications will be available online between May 16 and May 21. The examination saw perfect results in 2,105 schools, highlighting academic excellence despite the marginally lower pass rate.
