NMIMS Expands Horizons with New Ahmedabad Campus
NMIMS, a Mumbai-based B-school, has launched a new campus in Sanand, near Ahmedabad. The institution aims to provide industry-ready graduates in AI's rise, aligning with Gujarat's dynamic business ecosystem. NMIMS offers a variety of programs, emphasizing entrepreneurship and quality management education.
The prestigious Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has inaugurated a new campus in Sanand, an emerging industrial zone near Ahmedabad. This expansion into Gujarat underscores the city's burgeoning role as a growth hub, according to Dr. Meena Chintamaneni, NMIMS's pro VC and acting vice-chancellor.
Dr. Chintamaneni highlighted Ahmedabad's strategic importance, citing its fintech presence in GIFT City and the semiconductor industry's growth in Sanand. She emphasized NMIMS's intention to enhance the quality of management and professional education in a region already rich in business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
As AI continues to revolutionize industries, NMIMS plans to prepare students to meet these demands by integrating AI into its curriculum. The institute also focuses on up-skilling its faculty in AI applications across commerce and management. With 60 seats available in five programs, NMIMS Ahmedabad has opened its doors for undergraduate admissions, promising a forward-looking education landscape.
