On Friday, the Kerala SSLC examination results were announced, revealing a slight decrease in the overall pass percentage from 99.50% last year to 99.07% this year.
Principal Secretary Sharmila Mary Joseph and Director N S K Umesh disclosed these findings at a press conference, highlighting that out of 414,290 students, 410,456 moved forward to higher secondary education.
Notably, the number of students securing A+ in all subjects plummeted from 61,449 to 30,514. The introduction of a new curriculum is suspected to be behind these changes, according to Joseph, who suggested a deeper analysis for clarity.
