The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) launched a protest on Saturday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This comes in response to the alleged NEET paper leak and the suicides of four aspirants.
Protesters, brandishing posters and banners, marched from Teen Murti Circle toward the minister's residence, demanding accountability. They were halted by police barricades, with several arrests made, including IYC national president, Uday Bhanu Chib.
Chib criticized the government, labeling it a 'Leak-ocracy,' and highlighting the increasing paper leaks undermining students' confidence. He demanded comprehensive reforms and compensation for affected students, citing multiple exam paper leaks over the past 12 years.
