The Maharashtra Congress has urged a comprehensive investigation into potential irregularities in the MH-CET examination of 2025-26, claiming significant anomalies in the results.
Speaking at a recent press conference, spokesperson Sawant pointed out instances where students with middling board exam results managed to achieve remarkably high percentiles in MH-CET.
The examination, crucial for undergraduate admissions in fields like Engineering and Pharmacy, has created controversy, with allegations highlighting that at least 22 students with Class 10 scores between 35-40 percent achieved perfect results in the MH-CET.
Sawant noted specific cases where students, previously scoring modestly, excelled in CET Mathematics. The Congress argues similar experts were involved in both MH-CET and the previously disputed NEET-UG exam, calling for clarity from the State Common Entrance Test Cell.
The State cell, however, asserts that the examination procedure was conducted without any irregularities.
