Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan convened with former ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan to evaluate the preparedness for the NEET-UG 2026 retake, slated for June 21. The discussions were centered on ensuring enhanced examination security and improved facilities for candidates.
Radhakrishnan, who also leads a steering committee overseeing the National Testing Agency's (NTA) recommendations, joined other officials, including Higher Education Secretary Vineet Joshi and NTA Director General Abhishek Singh, in reviewing security measures. Additional steps to bolster surveillance and provide a conducive environment at the over 5,400 test centers spanning 550 cities were emphasized.
