The Himachal Pradesh government has launched a loan initiative under the Dr Y S Parmar Vidyarthi Rin Yojna, offering up to Rs 20 lakh at a minimal interest of one percent to support students in higher education and professional courses.
Addressing beneficiaries of the post-matric scholarship scheme from scheduled tribal areas, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu urged students to seize this financial opportunity. Significant educational reforms are underway, including the transition of over 156 schools to the CBSE curriculum, a move that has elevated the state's education quality ranking from 13th to 6th nationally.
